The oldest teacher of the department "Reliability and repair of machines", thanks to whom the history of the organization and development of the department of machine repair has been preserved and passed on to future generations of students and graduates. Born in Altai. He began his career as a hammerman, then as a tractor driver. In November 1944, he was drafted into the Soviet Army in the Far East as a cadet of an artillery division, then graduated from an aviation school and received the profession of an aircraft engine mechanic. Further service - squad leader in the aircraft maintenance and repair unit. After demobilization from the army, he worked in a wagon depot on the railway in Stalinsk (now Novokuznetsk). From 1951 to 1955, he studied at a mining technical school, then at a technical school for agricultural mechanization, which he graduated with honors. Then he studied at the Novosibirsk Agricultural Institute, and after graduation, he worked as the head of the workshops of the virgin land grain state farm "Gilevsky". Then he studied in the postgraduate program at the Novosibirsk Agricultural Institute at the Machine Repair Department, worked as an assistant at the agricultural machinery and machine repair departments. In 1969, Mikhail Andrianovich successfully defended his PhD thesis, and in 1971 the Higher Attestation Commission awarded him the title of associate professor. Along with his extensive teaching activities, he was actively involved in scientific research and the development of technologies for the restoration and strengthening of machine parts. He published more than 140 printed scientific papers, methodological manuals and recommendations, many of which are presented in central journals. More than 25 developments with recommendations for production were accepted for implementation. The composition of methodological manuals and instructions covers about 80 works. Mikhail Andrianovich enjoyed the well-deserved respect and love of more than one generation of students. Under his leadership, more than 300 engineering graduates successfully completed and defended their diploma projects. Until his last days, Mikhail Andrianovich continued to actively participate in all the affairs of the department; he was an authority for all the employees of the Engineering Institute and was a mentor to young teachers of the department.
